Rectangle or Oblong Face:
The Oblong face shape is another common shape, and is one characterized simply by being more than 60% longer than it is wide. In practice, the oblong face is one of the most readily identifiable, and can be angular (rectangle) or rounded (oblong). The key to dealing with the oblong face is to introduce a style with added width and an emphasis on horizontal lines. For the angular version smooth curves should be included to create contours.

Inverted Triangle:
The Inverted Triangle is named so because it is the face shape that features a much wider appearance at the top of the face than at the bottom. While the proportions may very well be ideal with regard to the horizontal and vertical dimensions, the width of the upper section of the head compared to the jaw area is what makes the determination for this face shape. In dealing with this face shape, the key is to minimize the upper portion of the head while creating volume and a horizontal line at the jaw area for width

Square:
The square face shape is characterized by having strong angles at the jaw and forehead. The proportions in height and width of the face may be close to the ideal, but the angles at the lower and upper sections of the face are the key. In more pronounced cases, the face shape can be easily recognized, but is often mistaken for other face types unless the shape is obvious. Dealing with the square face shape requires implementing a style that features curves at the forehead and jaw line with some volume on top and the sides to soften the angles of the face

Round:
The Round face shape is considered by many women to be the least desirable, and is often confused with excess weight. While many women may develop a round face because of weight gain, there are many women who don’t have weight issues whose faces are round naturally. The round face is noted by being less than 60% longer vertically than horizontally and by having rounded lines in the forehead and jaw areas.
